Banana and honey

You can make a banana mask by mashing a banana in a bowl and adding a little honey to it. Cleanse your first properly first and then apply the mixture on the face. You can keep the mask on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Use this mask once a week to maintain healthy looking skin.

Lemon and honey


Honey has anti-inflammatory property and lemon contains vitamin C and they are both beneficial for the skin. Lemon and honey are very helpful in treating irritated and itchy skin during the winter days. Add lemon and honey masks to your skin care routine.


To make this mask squeeze half a lemon in a bowl and add two tablespoons of honey to it. Always clean your face before applying any mask on it. After washing the face apply the mixture on face and leave it on for not more than 10 minutes. Then rinse off the mask with water. For dry skin you can mix a half cup of mashed ripe papaya with 2 teaspoons of milk and 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply on this mask after cleansing your face first. Keep on the mask for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse off with cold water.


For soothing itchy dry skin, you can mash together papaya, cucumber, and banana. Keep on for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water followed by cold water.

Olive oil and coconut oil


You can also use oils as masks for your skin. Olive oil is extremely moisturizing and good for super dry skin. It has anti-aging properties and hydrates the skin very well. Olive oil is very effective when used with honey.


You can mix one teaspoon of olive oil with one teaspoon of honey in a bowl. Then apply properly on the face after cleansing. Then rinse it off with warm water after not more than 20 minutes.


Coconut oil is a natural skin moisturizer keeping the skin very soft. Many people apply it on the face before going to bed and leave it on for the whole night. This is a popular skin care remedy for dry skin in winter months.


Apply the coconut oil on the face at night and massage properly for a few minutes. Leave it on and do not wash until morning. You will get healthy skin on regular use of this skin care routine.




Avocados in skincare routine have become very popular currently and many people swear by this fruit. Avocado contains healthy fats and is good for dry skin. It protects and keeps the skin hydrated. You can this avocado mask regularly on the face all throughout the year and not just in winter.

For making this face mask you need to separate the egg white from the yolk and mix the egg yolk with one teaspoon of honey. Apply this mixture with care after cleansing your face properly. Then leave it on and wash it off after fifteen minutes.
