Cluster headaches are the chronic disease that is characterized as an extraordinarily painful and is quite rare. Disorder of an internal clock in the hypothalamus is believed to be the main cause of a cluster headache. It usually develops between the age of 20 to 40 and according to the researchers, men are more likely to be attacked by this type of a headache as compared to women. Cluster headaches are defined as a severe pain attack on the one side of the head. Cluster headaches are of two types, episodic cluster headache, and chronic cluster headache. Episodic cluster headache is quite common than the other type and this type usually attacks on the daily basis. It usually attacks on the same time every year and lasts for around six to twelve weeks. Chronic cluster headache is very rare and this type of a cluster headache attacks nearly daily, year after year without any break.
