Dacmozen 0.5 mg Injection contains an active ingredient, Dactinomycin, which is used in the treatment of testicular cancer, Wilms' tumor, gestational trophoblastic neoplasia and Ewing's sarcoma. The cells of the testicles, i.e., the male reproductive organ start to grow abnormally leading to testicular cancer. It is also known as germ cell cancer. It is of two types, seminoma testicular cancer & non-seminoma testicular cancer. Wilm's tumor is a rare type of kidney cancer that causes a tumor in one or both kidneys. Gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) is a type of tumor in which a pregnant woman may get during her pregnancy. In this a fertilized egg does not become a fetus.
