What is Albalon Eye Drops 5ml

Albalon Eye Drop 0.5 Mg eye drops are used primarily to manage eye itchiness caused by allergic reactions. They also help soothe pollen allergies or any other type of allergic reaction. 

Albalon Eye Drop contains Ketotifen, an Antihistamine or Anti-allergic salt. It cancels out the natural chemicals irritating the eyelids and helps soothe the itchiness and swelling caused by Conjunctivitis. 

This medication is Manufactured and marketed by Allergan.

What are the benefits of using Albalon Eye Drops 5ml

Albalon Eye Drop consists of Ketotifen, which helps calm the itchiness sensation caused by reactive agents in the eyelids. 

Ketotifen is an antihistamine and has mast cell stabilizing properties. It helps reduce allergy symptoms, such as the redness, puffiness, and swelling caused by allergens such as pollen grains, dust mites, and pet dander in the patients.

How to use Albalon Eye Drops 5ml

The direction for using Albalon eye drops is as follows: 

  • Wash your hands before starting the process, and avoid touching any foreign surfaces
  • Shake the eye drop properly
  • Tilt your head down as low as possible
  • Open the lid of the eyedrop
  • Pull down your lower eyelid with one of your fingers
  • Put a drop or two of the medication (as your physician prescribes) on your inner lower eyelid area
  • Close your eyes for around 1-2 minutes
  • If you wear contact lenses, please remove them 15 minutes before using the medication. The same goes for putting them back

Note: The dose of the medication varies depending on the severity of the allergy. It is only for ophthalmic use.
