What is Tadalafil?

Tadalafil is the generic version of Cialis used primarily to treat Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

Cialis was manufactured by Eli Lilly in 2003. In 2008, FDA approved Cialis as an effective treatment for ED.

In 2017, pharmaceutical companies were allowed to make a generic version that is being sold as medicines like Tadarise.

Tadalafil belongs to the class of PDE5 inhibitors that increases blood flow through the penile region and helps men get and maintain an erection firm enough for sexual activity.

Tadalafil pills start their action 20 to 40 minutes after consumption, lasting around 36 hours.

Because it stays longer in the body, Tadalafil pills are also called weekend pills.

It is a prescription-based medicine and works only when a man is sexually stimulated.

Tadalafil is an FDA-approved medicine used to treat Erectile Dysfunction and Benign Prostate Enlargement (BPH) symptoms.

For ED, it increases the Cyclic Guanosine Monophosphate chemical, which relaxes the muscles in the penile region and increases the blood flow. This helps men get and maintain a firm erection.

Tadalafil tablets also treat the symptoms of BPH by increasing cGMP levels. It also relaxes muscle cells in the bladder and prostate and eases the urinary symptoms of BPH.

How long does Tadalafil last after taking it?

Tadalafil is the only ED medicine that lasts for 36 hours after taking. It starts working after 20 to 40 minutes after consumption.

The long-lasting tendency of the generic Cialis to stay in the system has given it the name weekend pill.

With the Tadalafil pill, you can get an erection multiple times within 36 hours.

What are the dangers of Tadalafil?

Many men do not experience Tadalafil side effects if used as prescribed, while some have mild side effects.

These may include headaches, back pain, muscle aches, pain in your arms and legs, facial flushes, stuffy nose, and indigestion.

If you are experiencing any other symptoms after taking Tadalafil, please consult your physician immediately.

Does Tadalafil make you last longer in bed?

No, Tadalafil treats Erectile Dysfunction and does not help in Premature Ejaculation.

It helps men get and maintain an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. It does not treat PE and can’t make you last longer in bed.

You can try a medicine like Duratia on your doctor’s recommendation to last longer in bed.

For patients who suffer from ED and PE, combination medicines like Super Vidalista can be taken through a prescription.

Does Tadalafil make you bigger?

Tadalafil pill is a prescribed medicine for Erectile Dysfunction and does not affect the size of the penis.

By relaxing the blood vessels around the penis, Tadalafil dosage helps men get and maintain an erection, but this process will do nothing for your size.

Is Tadalafil good for the heart?

Yes, Tadalafil acts as a vasodilator and relaxes the blood vessels to increase blood flow.

It works on the PDE5 enzyme in the lungs to relax the blood vessels. This will increase the blood supply to the lungs and reduce the heart’s workload.

However, if you are a heart patient, do not take the Tadalafil prescription for ED without consulting a doctor.

What is the best time to take Tadalafil?

Yes, it is safe to take lower doses like Tadalafil 2.5 mg and 5 mg daily; but you should strictly take it as per your doctor’s recommendation.

You can take your daily dose in the morning or evening, but it’s best to take it simultaneously each day.

Can Tadalafil damage kidneys?

No, Tadalafil medication is generally safe for use by men with kidney disease.

Tadalafil is shown to improve renal blood flow. In a specific amount, it prevents chronic kidney diseases.

But, before taking medicine, consult your doctor and inform them about your medical history to avoid any side effects.

Can I drink alcohol with Tadalafil?

Yes, one or two drinks do not interfere with the action of Tadalafil. However, it is not advisable to drink alcohol in excessive amounts while taking the medication.

When alcohol at an intoxication level is paired with Tadalafil, it can lower blood pressure to dangerous levels, which can cause dizziness.

Tadalafil vs Viagra – is Tadalafil better?

Tadalafil and Viagra (brand for Sildenafil) are equally effective medicines for treating Erectile Dysfunction, but Tadalafil dosage proves itself a better option in certain instances.
A dose of Tadalafil lasts up to 36 hours in the body, while Sildenafil lasts only 4 hours. The former also has quicker action than Sildenafil.
