Uses of the drug

How does it work?
As an eye drop, Cyclomune works as a partial modulator of the immune system. Tear production in the eyes gets lowered due to the accumulation of dead lymphocytes cells in tear glands. Cyclomune eye drops works by reversing the cycle and hence helps in increasing the tear production from tear glands.
How to take the drug?
Take the medicine as directed by your physician. It should be taken twice in a day with a gap of 12 hours in between in both eyes. Efforts shall be made to take the drug drops the same time every day.

How long should drug to be continued?

What if you miss the dosage?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not instill a double dose to make up for a missed one.

More than 800 drug interactions have been reported with use of Cyclosporine. It interacts with atorvastatin, aspirin, Calcium 600 D, docusate, amlodipine, pregabalin, Zyrtec etc.

Side effects of intake
Side effects associated with the drug are, burning, itching, stinging, redness, or pain of the eyes

- feeling that something is in the eye
Overdose effects
Shaking, headache, dizziness, unusual growth of body hair, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset, flushing or Unusual growth and swelling of the gums may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
