We want to share an important update that may affect your future orders. Starting August 29, 2025, the U.S. will remove the de minimis exemption, which currently allows packages under $800 to enter duty and tax-free.
As per the U.S. Customs policy under Executive Order 14324 Suspending Duty-Free De Minimis Treatment for All Countries:
- Orders arriving before August 29, 2025, will follow the current rules.
- All orders arriving after August 29, 2025, will be subject to taxes.
Here’s what we want you to know:
- CheapMedicineShop has always maintained the highest standards and followed the best practices to protect our customers' interests.
- Maintaining the same legacy, we will hold all the orders booked after August 22, 2025
- We will not process any orders until the policies are clear.
Our suggestion: Once the new procedures run smoothly, it is best to place new orders in early September 2025 to avoid disruptions. We will keep you informed if we receive any input from our logistics partners before early September.
This situation is beyond our control, but please rest assured that our team is working diligently with logistics partners and customs authorities to minimize disruptions and ensure your orders reach you as quickly as possible.
