How Qvir Kit (Atazanavir, Ritonavir, Tenofovir & Emtricitabine) Works:

Qvir Kit has active ingredients; Atazanavir, Ritonavir, Tenofovir & Emtricitabine. Atazanavir an anti-HIV medication which works by interfering with an enzyme (protease) that is required by HIV-infected cells to make new viruses. This further stops the production of new viruses. Atazanavir binds to the active site HIV protease & prevents it from cleaving the pro-form of viral proteins into the working machinery of the virus. If the HIV protease enzyme does not work, the virus is not infectious, & no mature virions are made. Ritonavir is a structural analogue of the transition state during which the bond between phenylalanine & proline is broken. Ritonavir is used to inhibit a particular liver enzyme which metabolizes protease inhibitors, cytochrome.  Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate & Emtricitabine work by preventing HIV (virus) from multiplying thereby reduce the amount of virus in your body. They also increase the CD4 cell (white blood cells which protect against infection) count in your blood.
