What is Teradox Eye Drop

Teradox Eye Drop combines Dexamethasone and Tobramycin to manage bacterial eye infections such as Conjunctivitis and eye inflammation. It relieves pain, swelling, redness, itching, and eye irritation. It may also reduce inflammation and discomfort following eye surgery, such as cataracts or corneal refractive surgery.

Dexamethasone is a steroid that reduces redness, swelling, and itching by blocking the production of chemical messengers, Prostaglandins. Tobramycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that combats bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for bacteria to perform vital functions. It is especially effective against species of Pseudomonas.

Dexamethasone reduces inflammation, redness, soreness, pain, itching, and swelling, while Tobramycin targets and kills susceptible bacteria. Together, they alleviate both the infection and inflammation in the eyes.

This eye drop may cause side effects, such as burning, irritation, itching, or redness. However, these side effects will disappear as the body adapts to the medication. Inform your doctor if you have allergies to the ingredients or are taking other medications. Teradox may cause temporary blurred vision, so avoid driving or operating heavy machinery immediately after use.

This medication is Manufactured and marketed by Leeford Healthcare Ltd.

What are the benefits of using Teradox Eye Drop

Teradox Eye Drop primarily treats bacterial eye infections and their symptoms. It contains Tobramycin and Dexamethasone, which control bacterial growth and reduce the infected eye's inflammation and itchiness.

Dexamethasone in eyedrops is a Corticosteroid that helps reduce eye inflammation. It blocks the production of specific chemical receptors in the eye, which causes the itching sensation.
