Nepachek 5 ml Eye Drop is an ophthalmic Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, redness, and irritation after eye surgery. It contains Nepafenac 0.1% (w/v) and is manufactured by Indoco Remedies Ltd. in GMP-certified facilities.
Nepafenac is a topical anti-inflammatory suspension that inhibits Cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes. This reduces the formation of prostaglandins, chemicals that trigger post-surgical inflammation. As a result, it provides targeted pain relief without systemic (whole-body) effects.
